You can expect to have made and registered your LPA in around 5 months. This includes completing the documents, asking everyone involved to sign them, and registering them with the Office of the Public Guardian. The majority of this LPA timescale will be spent waiting for the documents to be registered. The current registration times for LPAs are around 16 weeks.
